The Get Up Kids posting studio photos

Get Up Kids have been posting photos from the studio on their recently launched Twitter page. The photos lead to speculation that the band is recording for some sort of new release, but whether this is a new album or EP remains unknown.

The band is planning a lengthy reunion tour this August, September and October.

spoon got huge.. but, you only get so much money.. it's safe to assume that they've all made a decent living from the get up kids, but it doesn't do much in the long run.

suptic was working at home depot up until recently...

there's ways to be smart and live off your earnings as a musician, but it requires a steady commitment.

I don't think I've ever seen a GUK show where Matt wasn't completely hammered. I'm all for a reunion, but if they're going to charge me $30 to see some drunk dick around on guitar and mess up the words to songs, I'll go to Rory Lake's karaoke instead.

If they're gonna keep with the later Get Up Kids sound, more "Man of Conviction"/"Martyr Me"/"Sympathy" type songs, wayyyy less "Sick In Her Skin"/"Is There A Way Out" stuff.

Or just record another Something To Write Home About.

I thought they were done after the tour? I'm sure they went as far as to say it was their last uk tour ever. Or are they just quitting international touring?
