Hardcore veteran Wes Eisold (Give Up The Ghost, Some Girls, Cold Cave) recently spoke to Closet Trekkie about his multimedia label, The Heartworm as well as the forthcoming release from his latest musical project, Cold Cave.

I understand earth crisis and the Sex Pistols, but Bad Religion, NOFX, and Green Day are three of the most influential and important punk bands ever.

Especially BR and NOFX.

Agree with the first line completely, but Green Day is way more important and influential than BR and NOFX, and you know it. Say what you want about them and their last two records, but what they did in the 90's with the release of Dookie is enough to put them in the top three of most influential punk bands of all time. With the Clash and the Ramones.
