Loads of these new-new-new-newschool douche "pop-punk" bands are really young, like... young enough to make me feel really old at 24.

It's all hopeless after the age of twelve. These days it's easier for me to just watch a movie than it is to do anything else.

There were a handful of amazing 80s TZ episodes. The blue people that worked inbetween time and the stopwatch. Both are great.

I just like to pretend any TZ series besides the original doesn't exist. It's always a bummer when the Sci Fi channel tricks me with the others.

My first instinct for DVD recommendations is usually anything Trek, but you sure as hell can't get those sets for $50.

I think you really need to start reading. How can not read? That's like saying you rarely listen to music. It's just wrong.

So basically you should spend the whole $50 on books. Start with Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy.

I'm not patient enough to sit and read. I will only do so when I fly, which is actually in a month, but still. It's not that I hate books, I used to read all the time, but after graduating after reading a shit ton of books, I now fall asleep 10 minutes into reading and become quickly disinterested.

god, that books is soooo amazing. it's so poetically written yet so over the top violent. the scene where they are ambushed by the Apaches is probably the greatest few paragraphs in modern literature. IMO.
