Tours: Fake Problems cancel remaining headlining shows due to death in the family

Fake Problems are canceling the rest of their headlining tour due to a death in the family of one of their members. The band was scheduled to head over to the west coast with Ninja Gun but has decided to cut the tour short after their date in Chicago tonight.

The band was touring in support of It's Great to Be Alive. You can see some footage from the Philadelphia stop of their tour here: Fake Problems: "Heart BPM" (Live in Philadelphia).

Everyone here at Punknews' sympathies go out to the band and their families.

Terrible news. Had the pleasure to see them at Warped Tour in Cleveland (their one Warped date). Chris and Derek are really awesome guys.

Hi all,

Ninja Gun are very sad to announce that we won't be doing those dates without Fake Problems as we were going to be direct support for them. We're sorry for any inconvenience and we promise to make it up to all of you very soon. Our hearts and thoughts go out to our buddies as they deal with this tragic occurrence.

They cancelled the tour after Chicago but are resuming on August 2nd. So those shows should still be happening.
Anyone going to SPoT on the 7th?

so excited to see them in the uk in august and october. not seen them live as yet. and as luck would have it i'm gonna be in germany in sept so should be able to catch a date or 2. :D

The last leg of shows with Ninja Gun / Fake Problems is back on. The first one is in Birmingham on August 2nd and they end in Tampa on the 7th.
