First to Leave will head out on a short southwest / west coast run with fellow melodic punks Hear the Sirens.

First to Leave continues to support 2007's Forging a Future on Wednesday Records, while Hear the Sirens issued Rebel Hearts Lost earlier this year on Silly Girl.

Hear The Sirens have potential if they make their sound a bit more... unique. The standard melodic hardcore drumming really kills it too. Some of their songs are great though. Haven't listened to the other band I don't think.

EDIT: Okay, First to Leave is good, enjoying these songs more than Hear The Sirens, for now.

Don't think I've brought up this band before... a few months ago they sent me their cd for $6, shipping included, across the ocean. I think they lost money on that.

Okay guys, First to Leave is really good. They sound like Title Fight and Such Gold, but seem better than both bands to me. The latter half of their 2007 album sees them at their best, but their most recent release, a split, is quite good too. I sound like I'm super-educated on them, but I just heard them for the first time today. Lol, and stuff.
