Saw Wheel enters studio

Saw Wheel has entered the studio to record material for an upcoming 7" to be released by Anti-Creative Records. This record is expected out in time for The Fest 8 in Gainesville, FL Halloween weekend, and will mark the first time the band has recorded electric as opposed to acoustic.

The band recently joined Fail Safe Records and that label will be reissuing and remastering their recent album, The End of the Line. Said album can be heard at the band's Punknews.org page.

On a political (socialist) website I post at there is this dude who also contributes but its like what the fuck buddy??

One second he is all "peace and love, maaaaan..lets change the world by changing ourselves" then the next he'll say "the dictatorship of the proletariat is coming for YOU motherfucker". All while talking like a wigger with "wichas", "haftas", "yellas" (asians), "mebbe" and so forth. Its total bullshit. He is also a self-described "fag".

I think they have a stream on here, listen to that... it's somewhere between Chuck Ragan (who I love) and Drag The River (who's too country for me). I personally like Saw Wheel every once in a while, the instruments have a nice jangly, tinny thing that works and is pretty unique.

To be honest I don't like that, when you know their singing voice is forced. That is why Hot Water Music can't be beat, they were just singing and it came out that way. Though I still like Polar Bear Club, and if his voice isn't forced, my username doesn't have a lame little x at the end of it... God I want french fries right now.

Yeah, the Monikers are like that for me. They're one of my favorite bands and it works on the records but in personal his singing voice sounds pretty forced. Didn't detract anything for me because like I said they're one of my favorite bands..but it was noticeable

But then when you look at 'professional' singers, as in people with trained choir voices and stuff, that's completely forced too. For example if Celine Dion didn't force or attempt anything at all, she'd sound like any old woman singing in the shower. So why is forcing a harsh shout or something any different? I love being inconsistent with my thoughts on things.
