Bleeding Through sign to Rise Records

Bleeding Through have signed to Rise Records. The news comes after the band parted ways with longtime label Trustkill Records. The band recently enlisted guitarist Dave Nassie, formerly of No Use for a Name.

Their most recent release was 2008's Declaration.

This label is rapidly becoming the new Victory. I believe they have a distribution deal with Victory as well.

Had a pretty cool weekend... I saw Cobra Skulls (awesome!), Duane Peters Gunfight (not bad, but Duane used to be much more entertaining when he was a drunk) and Anti- Nowhere League (old but still entertaining, not something I'd ever really listen to on purpose) on Friday. Overall good show, although my disdain for crusties just keeps getting worse every time I have to smell one of those gross motherfuckers. Go move back in with your middle class parents and take a fucking shower.

Also saw Riverboat Gamblers at a skate deck art show in a pizza parlor on Sunday afternoon. Gamblers were fucking amazing as usual and they're even better in a small environment.

Cobra skulls kicked ass when I saw them at the fest. I love watching ol' dood play the bass. He's fucking kick ass.

Yeah. That was the first time I saw them. I was a fan before, but I think they need to be seen live. They're playing here on Sunday. Along with Superchunk on Friday and Built to Spill on Saturday, it shall be a most excellent weekend.

Went to the museum with my good lady, saw my cousin's band playing with some awful electro-industrial rock bands and got drunk. Not a lot doing but I watched Wild at Heart and it was really good if a bit odd; although it's david lynch so what else should i have expected.

I watched that movie about 12 years ago while I was on acid. It almost gave me a bad trip. David Lynch and acid do not go well together.
