So I don't know how to say this, but an album has snuck up on me and is in direct competition against Castevet for my album of the year. Crazy Arm's "Born to Ruin" is that album.

Well Castevet is beautifully crafted '90s emo-revival stuff that instrumentally blows ANY '90s emo band out of the water, with gruff vocals like Small Brown Bike.

Carpenter plays acoustic-driven (no acoustic live) melodic punk rock with inspiring lyrics, his voice is kinda clean at times but never whiney and... I don't know. They're great.
