A Wilhelm Scream have begun announcing dates for a US and Canada run set to kick off in late September. The band recently signed to Paper and Plastick and the band's first release on the label will be a self-titled, five-song 12-inch out this fall. The band produced the EP in their home studio, and it will be mixed by Matt Bayles (Minus The Bear, Mastodon).

I thought they were doing an EP and a full-length... is the latter coming out next year?

New Wave cafe? I might have to go to that. Although I will most likely have to suffer some Smackin' I songs.

So not excited to be in Mexico when this comes through. I guess I'll still see them at the fest, but damnit.

Combination of Matt Bayles and AWS - this sounds golden. Apparently Matt Bayles only likes bands that are into two-hand tapping, and I'm perfectly fine with that.

Paper and plastik are like the "bizzaro world" epitaph.....signing a crazy amount of bands but signing good/decent ones not the shitty ones 2+ Replies

The show in Austin is the same day that Nothington is playing, but their show still has venue TBA. I wonder if they'll just jump on this bill?

Bless these guys for repeatedly coming to my shitty, shitty little town

As - the fuck - if. In Winnipeg the same night as Gaslight. What a crock of shit. They should seriously combine the two shows into one mega show that ends up blowing Winnipeg right off the face of the Earth. 6+ Replies

A Wilhelm Scream is a circular narrative in many ways. Where it kind of sums up the human race in a time capsule.

fuck yeah, great news! Glad it's at the end of september though, already got PUnk ROckKareoke and Off with their heads at the beginning of the month, trying to lay low after summer, but htis happens every year(poor me yeah I know), but I'm a workin' man not in school so, ugh... Fuck I gotta tell Fenchie bout this ASAP.

judging from the huge gap in dates, i'll assume there's a vancouver date. especially since the last time I saw them in Vancouver, the place was packed and going insane.

They suck hard. I had the misfortune of seeing them support Lagwagon in Germany. 3+ Replies

Wow, I cant believe they are actually going all the way up to Fort McMurray! 2+ Replies
