Prosthetic Records has signed Trap Them. The band is described as Swedish death metal, punk and d-beat and names bands like Entombed, Black Flag, Nasum and Tragedy as influenced. Prior to their forthcoming Prosthetic debut, the band will be releasing an EP through Southern Lord Records.
Trap Them has released several seven inches and EPs and two full lengths, the latest being Seizures in Barren Praise on Deathwish Inc. Check out some music here. Prosthetic Records (33 comments)

Eh, tried to get into this band since I like hardcore and death metal, but they just sound like a half-assed combination of better influences. 2+ Replies

Yeah, how is hardcore not even mentioned? I have "Seizures..." it's pretty good. 1+ Reply

They left Deathwish for Prosthetic? Odd choice. At least that label has two good bands now (Kylesa being the other one) not that I bought any records from them as the vinyl versions by that band came out on other labels, I'd assume this will to? 1+ Reply

Seizures in Barren Praise was pretty awesome. Mission Convincers is a monster of a closing track. Good to hear we'll be hearing more from them soon. | Features
