AFI have announced a small run of mostly Midwest and east coast club and theater dates in support of their upcoming album. It'll be the band's first U.S. shows since July 2007.

The record is titled Crash Love and is due out September 29, following on 2006's Decemberunderground.

I can't believe Black Sails is already ten years old. I listened the shit out of that album in high school. I never would've thought that the band who wrote that would end up with an album like "Decemberunderground."

I still remember at my high school, there were only like 4 of us who had heard AFI before, and we all disagreed on which AFI sound was their best (Black Sails, Shut Your Mouth, Very Proud, and Answer that). It's kinda funny now, since they're all better than the two newer albums.

Yes! That is probably my biggest pet peeve ever! Ever since I was a kid I've had issues with hearing people chew and gum is by far the worst. Uggh! so fucking gross. It's got that squishy, wetness that just kills me. People that feel the need to constantly pop their gum annoy the shit outta me too. What're you fucking 6 years old? You're like a 37 year old manager working in an office environment, grow the fuck up.

Also 99% of gum nowadays is filled with artifical sweeteners and those are so bad for you they should be illegal. No thanks.

Hearing about AFI now is like hearing about that girl you dated when you were 19 that was really hot but kinda crazy, and not in a sexy way, then you broke up and everybody was like "what?! she's hot!" and you knew you did the right thing by leaving but still kinda wondered "what if" and then you heard about her 5 years later and she was in the nuthouse for a while and had some issues with cutting and dabbled in meth and shit and you went home and had a beer and said "thank fucking god" and jerked off.
