Guitar Hero: Van Halen to feature The Clash, blink-182, Yellowcard, Foo Fighters

The non-Van Halen tracks from the upcoming Guitar Hero: Van Halen game have been announced. The game will feature 28 Van Halen songs and 19 songs from the likes of Billy Idol, Foo Fighters, Blink 182, Fountains of Wayne, Jimmy Eat World, Killswitch Engage, Queens of the Stone Age, Tenacious D, The Clash, The Offspring, Third Eye Blind, Weezer and Yellowcard.

It's the leadoff track on what is in my opinion their weakest album (not including Cut the Crap for obvious reasons). I agree it's great, but I understand why it's not as well-liked as the songs from their better albums.

Wasn't it David Lee Roth that questioned why Joe Strummer couldn't lighten up in The Future Is Unwritten?

I think it was in regards to Strummer criticizing the fact that Van Halen got paid a million dollars to play one festival.

Either way, kind of odd that a Clash track is part of a Van Halen videogame.
