Bane to release 7" on Triple-B Records

Long-running Worcester, MA hardcore act Bane released a new song - "The Bold and the Beautiful" - on their MySpace page last month, but didn't say when or where it would be available commercially. Today it was announced that Triple-B records will be releasing a new 7" from the band, which will feature the new song as well as two others.

Bane are currently on tour in Europe and will be returning to the United States for a tour in the Fall. Their last full-length was 2005's The Note.

ugliest mug in hardcore. he looks like a bloodhound slept with his mom.

used to love holding this moment in high school.

oof. it's funny considering how generally soft-spoken he is in interviews and stuff. you'd expect him to talk in the drill sergeant voice all the time. even if it's just ordering waffles at bickfords or something.

coming from worcester i have seen these guys countless times. there are so many amazing pictures of him.

i stopped going to bane shows when someone tried to fight me upstairs at the palladium when they knew i was high as shit, with like, 5 of my friends. i was like 17.

It's funny that Russ Rankin twitters about how much he likes Starbucks. I like it too. and they have vegan options. Still funny though.

With the exception of Give Blood, Bane always picks the worst people to mix and produce their music. The quality of sound on The Note and It All Comes Down To This is awful - I've heard better sound from high school bands who spend a couple hundred bucks on a recording. Well, at least the quality of the individual songs on IACDTT made up for the bad sound, can't say the same about The Note which sucked on both levels.

yeah, i hate steve austin's production style. it's like he's determined to make every band he records, no matter who they are, sound like today is the day.
