There's a weird kind of punk rule (excuse) that Kevin Lyman uses to justify shit music at warped tour, that because the music isn't punk, that makes it punk. That it's going against the rules of punk, which is punk.

Warped Tour was a really cool idea that has since been subverted by trends and the need to make money. The last 4 years have hardly been worth noting at all.

i just think there arent enough B-mainstream punk bands anymore. why do you think he has to recycle the same bad religion, antiflag, pennywise, rancid, flogging bands constantly....becaue there are no other bands to fill those spots. no other punk bands that would attract a large enough crowd in orrder for the festival to be succesful.
