Misfits to release Gold edition of box set

To commemmorate the The Misfits box set going gold (it sold over half a million copies in the US and was certified gold by the RIAA in April '08), Jerry Only has designed a unique coffin-shaped, 2 1/2-foot tall certification plaque exclusively for Fiend Club members.

Fiends can vote on one of three prototypes, and the winning design will be made available for purchase, custom made to order and engraved with the purchaser's name. You can find more details here.

So are all I liked it. I always got rid of pikachu, but the graphics were so much cooler then original and the pokemon actually looked like they were supposed to.

The only misfits song I don't like is Come Back, other than that... everything they've done is awesome. Yes, I even love Return of Fly, don't front.

Deadguy's Horror Business and AFI's covers are the only ones worth listening to.

Ted Leo doing "Hybrid Moments" at Fun Fun Fun Fest in '07 was amazing, specifically for dedicating it to "that other band from Jersey that's playing a couple stages down" that band was Lifetime.

Weird version? Prertty sure that was the original version from the first 7 inch. Anyways, enough being technical, of all the Misfits merch, this box set is so fucking awesome.

apparently for some reason glenn doesn't get a penny in royalties for the box set. still, that shit totally rules except it doesn't have walk among us, which as we all know is the best misfits album.

Wait, what?

I thought all the Misfits royalties didn't have any credits on them except for "All songs written by Glenn Danzig" or "Music by the Misfits, lyrics by Glenn Danzig". My understanding was he pretty much negotiated all the contracts and gets the lion's share of the cash.
