Gwar, Misfits coming to Rock Band for Halloween

The Misfits classic, "Astro Zombies," along with tracks from GWAR, Wolfmother and Queens Of The Stone Age are coming to Rock Band 2 this month. To celebrate Halloween, the game will add the Misfits track as well as a song from GWAR and Marilyn Mason. Earlier in October, the game will add three songs from Wolfmother and three from Queens of the Stone Age.

Should I go see them? They're playing at a place I always go to and get in for free and it's like 2 nights before the fest. Are they worth going to see without danzig at all?

Yeah, you should go. It's not classic misfits, but you get to hear Dez sing some of his Black Flag Classics, including "Rise Above" which was written while he was singing, and that's worth price of admission alone.

These songs are being released for Guitar Hero 5. Activision announces their release plans each month, Rock Band's new songs aren't announced until the Friday before they're released. It was announced however that a Queen 10 pack is coming out for Rock Band in October.

Also, I wish these were coming out for Rock Band. Fuck Guitar Hero.

You know, I've heard that for awhile. Then I played Rock Band. No thanks. I heard the quality of everything was so much better but I found the opposite to be true. I really dont like the skinny ass little button markers they use on the screen and I hated the fact that I could twist the guitar like a twizler. Its fun but I just prefer GH.
