Basement Records has announced the signing of Fiction Reform. The band promises "catchy, hard rockin' tunes in the vein of Bad Religion, Rise Against, The Distillers & Foo Fighters." The group includes members of Aerodrone, This Is My Empire, The Last Gang and Bullet Treatment.

I agree with both of ya, Basement releases good shit, and there's only one Brody. Then again most chicks who play this kind of music and yell all sound the same. Have to wait and see about this.

I've heard this band and I don't think they sound anything like the Distillers. Yes, the singer does have a similar tone to Brody, but the music is completely different in my opinion. Can't wait to hear the full length, the one song I have heard is pretty rad.

These guys sound nothing like the Distillers. Or any of the other bands listed. In fact I find them quite generic except for the singer being a Sharon Osbourne lookalike. How about some dynamics? I sure hope when there record comes out they write some decent songs, and please don't sound anything like Aerodrone! They are the worst! |
