i have never seen them. but they are top 2 or 3 worst bands i've ever heard a recording of. this shit's almost as bad as brokencyde.

Dude, be serious. Their music is fun for what it is. I've seen Big D live probably a dozen times and they've got some good ska-punk (pre-Strictly Rude). If that's not your bag, then so be it.

But, I did catch a song or two of Brokencyde's at the Warped tour this year out of sheer curiousity, and that was utter trash (even for the "scene" they are a part of).....

Aaaand they're playing at the Mad Hatter Club in Covington, Kentucky, which is about half the size of your average Legion Hall.

they played at bogarts in march of '08 and the place was less than half full, so the mad hatter is perfect size. that place isn't as small as people think

I haven't been there in awhile. The last time I was there was to see Latterman and Banner Pilot back in the summer of '06 or it might have been Black Tie Bombers and some other band right around the same time (Team Stray maybe? or some local band with the word 'Fire' in their name?). I just remember it being kind of small. Have they removed the stripper polls since then?

to be honest, i dont really know of any stipper poles in there....do you mean by the stage? bc if so, then no. i've been there like 5 times in the past month. it's only 5 minutes away from me

Those guys will do anything for a buck.

Those of us on the East Coast aren't stoked on the location of the tour dates either.

Misplaced anger?

I don't know where you live, but check their myspace, as they have more listed. They have Sonic Boom Six as support (STOKED!!) and I bought tix to CA shows for December.

Thank you sir. They're playing a date near the Dallas area, so that's worth the 2 hour drive for me!

As a huge Big D fan, the new stuff live pales in comparison in terms of energy. I stood around for the majority of their set, although the tunes were still good. It sucks, cause I used to love being in the pit for Jeremy, 51 gardner, LAX, etc.
