has anyone heard of this band called cooper? their 5th album just came out and i listened to it, it's pretty good. the guy's voice sounds like billy joe mixed with josh caterer. apparently bill stevenson produced some of their albums? i looked for them on here and found nothing.

i listened to nirvana for the first time in ages this week and it turned me onto the wipers again. i hadnt listened to 'is this real?' in so long, such a great album.

Slayer... and I love that band... their new album is SUCH a let down. Seriously recycled riffs in every song. One song, in all honesty, should be called South of Heaven 2.

For curiosity's sake, I listened to the stream of the new Say Anything album.... And, surprisingly, I like most of it. It's a little too religious at times, but if that was a big problem, I wouldn't listen to Iron and Wine and such either.... The music is much better than I expected.

I'm digging the new Say Anything, also. Definitely plan on picking that one up this week - just saw that it comes along with a free 7'' if you buy local.. always a sucker for the cool free stuff.
