With new releases from Nirvana coming out this week, the only living member who participated both in Bleach and Live and Reading has been doing some interviews but as both interviewer and subject. In Seattle Weekly, bassist
Krist Novoselic spoke to Dale Crover of Melvins who recorded the first demos for Bleach before Chad Channing recorded the drum tracks which finally appeared on the record.

Interesting how the Dale Crover interview kinda devolves into a "rememberences of Kurt" session whereas the Chad Channing interview is very brief, with both Krist and Chad talking about different things within the same topic at times. I know Dale Crover hung with the same crowd as Kurt, but Chad was in the same damn band with Kurt for a couple years. I guess that shows how distant the drummers in that band could be to Kurt and Krist. 1+ Reply

Chad Channing went on to be in a pretty good pop punk band called The Methodists. They only released one album, though. | Features
