Mammoth (November 4, 2009)

misfits covers were boring 12 years ago. ramones covers are even more horrendous.

Salvador (November 4, 2009)

obviously its meant to be a joke.
TL is hilarious.

Mammoth (November 4, 2009)

no, no, no. I completely agree. Don't get me wrong, I love both the Misfits and Ramones.
I was just referring to the ample amount of bands that cover their tunes and the fans that freak out like they've gone on a journey to 1977.

24HourPriapism (November 4, 2009)

holy fucking shit, this is amazing.

ExtraCheesePizza (November 4, 2009)

I went to Dead Milkmen over this. I still feel I made the right choice.

ffwoodycooks (November 4, 2009)

you didnt.

Salvador (November 5, 2009)

any time there is a chance to see TL live and you skip it, you're stupid.

ExtraCheesePizza (November 5, 2009)

Even the best Misfits cover band ever is still just a cover band. Dead Milkmen is my favorite band and I got to hear new material by them.

daved4 (November 4, 2009)

how was it?

didnt the bass player kill himself?

ExtraCheesePizza (November 5, 2009)

They kill it live every time I've seen them. Dandrew from the Low Budgets is their bassist now and he is a solid replacement. They played new material and it's like they picked up right where they left off 15 years ago.

baldsteve (November 4, 2009)

Damn it! I can't see this. That's a pretty awesome group. Did atom give the package a devilock?

How many songs?

punk_sk (November 4, 2009)

take the average length of a misfits song and divide by 37

baldsteve (November 4, 2009)

So...all of them

Mammoth (November 4, 2009)

old news, great video.

miniblindbandit (November 4, 2009)

neat

Dante3000 (rich) (November 4, 2009)

In video 5....Are those...uhm...Juggalos in the audience?
-Dante

chris4555 (November 4, 2009)

it was halloween, so probably kids dressed as juggalos

TwitchyIsAPunkRocker (November 9, 2009)

Appropriate, I can't think of anything more terrifying.

Mr_International (November 4, 2009)

They might be authentic Juggalos, they seem to really like the fucking Nekromantix alot for some reason, so maybe they're attracted to the Misfits because of the surface horror aesthetic.

whopperforthecopper (November 4, 2009)

aren't they all covers?

seems redundant to point out that "Mother" was a cover

baldsteve (November 4, 2009)

I'm guessing just pointing out that they weren't all Misfits covers.

MattRamone (November 4, 2009)

I would have given a nut to see this.

Mammoth (November 4, 2009)

throw in both and maybe you can.

IanIsSuperRad (November 4, 2009)

I've seen Ted Leo play a solo cover Angelfuck before and it was awesome. I can only assume these videos will be awesome.

GlassPipeMurder (November 4, 2009)

quite the lineup.

the title is right on.

Seth_Uber_Alles (November 4, 2009)

high school nostalgia my ass, I still play the misfits all the time if not moreso. what a brilliant band.

14theroad (November 4, 2009)

Srsly. One of the best bands ever. If you've "grown out" of them I feel sorry for you.

Cos (November 4, 2009)

I'd rather see the MisFATs
http://www.misfats.com/

esteeben (November 4, 2009)

fingers crossed for Angelfuck

esteeben (November 4, 2009)

Yes

switcharoo (November 4, 2009)

I would have liked to hear some misfits songs falsetto ted leo style

TwitchyIsAPunkRocker (November 9, 2009)

I feel 138 or london dungeon would translate well

StandAlone (November 4, 2009)

I agree, Misfits covers have been done and done.... but... They actually sound pretty good. I'm liking this.

RonnieD (November 5, 2009)

Sic set! It's funny how the only Danzig song anyone knows - myself inclusive - is 'Mother'.

taargus (November 5, 2009)

Uhm, excuse me...i celebrate danzig's entire catalogue!

Oskorei (November 5, 2009)

as cliched as it may be, these type of events are always a blast.
