American Steel releases skate deck

American Steel have unveiled a skate deck based on the album art of their 2007 release, Destroy Their Future.

Ya think that might be because the churches that go for the "cool" angle are targeting the type of kids that skate? Serious question. I know when I was in 7th or 8th grade me and a lot of my friends would always go to some sorta youth night at a church because they'd rent some super-nice new ramps/rails. Totally worth it to hear a little jesus spiel, and we were the type of mildly bad kids that the church would love to recruit.

this church near me bought an old building where a grocery stroe used to be and built a huge skate park inside. you have to be a member of the church to skate there. it's so lame.

I believe (I may be wrong) that it was taking off a shipping freight just before they played their first show. Besides sounding like it could belong to a Toby Keith cover band, I like it.

Where as you can get shirts, stickers and patches at gigs or online whenever you want, like with any band, this is news to me. And certainly of relevance to skaters who love American Steel.
