The Menzingers have posted a stream of their new single "I Was Born." The track comes from their upcoming album, Chamberlain Waits, due out April 13, 2010. The track was released this week as a digital single backed by two acoustic tracks. Head to their MySpace page to hear it.
Chamberlain Waits follows up Hold on Dodge, the band's critically acclaimed EP on Red Scare and their debut LP A Lesson in the Abuse of Information Technology, which came out on Go-Kart records. They recorded the album with Matt Allison (Alkaline Trio, The Lawrence Arms) at Atlas Studio in Chicago Red Scare (226 comments)

I think Hold On Dodge is the best overall release of the last decade. I think Sunday Morning is one of the best tunes ever.

Solid tune. Haven't heard anything else from it, but i'll bet the album ends up in at least my top 5, this year.

kinda funny how one person can say that this band isn't good and 50 people attack him and say he's a troll. people are entitled to their opinions, guys. 8+ Replies

I was expecting God of War 3 to be good, but this game completely blew me away. Aside from some minor technical issues, (clipping, glitches, controller responsiveness), the action and story completely made up for any frustrations. 95/100 2+ Replies

A decently known poker site wouldn't fork over a payment check for $1200 after 6 months of disputing their claims. I decided to smear the site on the twoplustwo forums two days ago, where a forum moderator told me he'd see what he could do about the situation. I got the money today! The dude came through! Yay internet!

So my band opened for the Pietasters tonight (last night I guess). It was hands down one of the craziest shows we've played. Kids were going fucking nuts. We've played with the Loved Ones, OWTH, Leftover Crack, A Wilhelm Scream, plus some others. We're not even a ska band, but that was one of the best crowd responses we've had. 4+ Replies

Maybe someone said this already, but that bass part on the intro is amazing.

Fat Mike filled a tequila bottle full of his own piss last night, then poured shots for the crowd...taped the whole thing, then played the tape for the crowd as he was leaving, middle finger in the air. Glad I wasn't in front. 5+ Replies

I'm late to the party but this song is really good. This band has been one of favorite bands for awhile. So stoked for the new album.

I dig Caribou, but there's a million better neo psych pop bands out there.

I just found this place yesterday and have recently been introduced to stablon, though I haven't tried it yet. But it appears to be exactly what I need. I basically suffer from PTSD, as a result of an abusive parent. I truely believe there has been severe damage done to my hippocampus and hypothalamus, as a result. Over the past month I've been using CES (cranial electro-stimulation) to pretty good results. There is evidence that CES works to stimulate and heal parts of the limbic system. | Features
