Travis Barker names solo album, plans single with Tom Morello and The RZA

Travis Barker of Blink 182 has revealed some details about his upcoming solo album. The record will be titled Give The Drummer Some and a September release is planned.

As reported earlier, the musician is planning a diverse mixture of sounds and guests and has promised appearances from members of Transplants, Blink 182, Snoop Dogg, Chester Bennington of Linkin Park and more. The first since titled "Carry It" will include Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine, Street Sweeper Social Club) and RZA (Wu-Tang Clan)

Barker continues to reveal information about the album via his Twitter.

Dre is talented, he can take a good idea and make it better, all his well known phases were building upon other people though: Big Hutch, Sam Sneed and Mel-Man. RZa however is original and awesome.

Everything except the Transplants and Linkin Park in this article has something decent about it, but Tom Morello hasn't been part of anything great in awhile and Snoop hasn't been great since he dropped the "Doggy" from his name.
