Our friends at AMP Magazine are hosting a stream of the new split LP from Grabass Charlestons and Toys That Kill for No Idea Records. Head here to listen.

Both bands will be appearing at The Fest 9 in Gainesville, FL over Halloween weekend.

I work at a Subway.

The band is called Socialcide from Richmond/VA Beach. They were around in the mid 2000's. They are one of the few bands that were able to truly capture the early 80's east coast hardcore sound and attitude. So good. They haven't played a show in roughly 4 years. They're only doing this show because it's a wedding gift for one of their close friends. And the headliner of the show is Career Suicide, which I really wanted to see also.

I started listening to Fox Sports radio a little bit like you recommended I do like a year ago. Ironic that I'm now listening to it regularly and they took it off in your area. The world is a vampire.

haha jesus. my life is like 9% less enjoyable now that it is gone. espn is ok during the day but at night it is all rays/marlins/minor league baseball zzzzzzzzzzzz. It was so nice to have an alternative. I can still listen online but I used to find excuses to drive places at night just to listen to pms. I tried NPR to see if that would fill in but it is also boring.

Do you (or anyone else for that matter) listen to The Petros and Money Show on Fox Sports Radio??

That shit is my daily afternoon jam. If you can stand Petros' voice and all the USC/west coast chatter, it is the most entertaining show on FSR. They are on point with their info, and all the extras I like are there from 80's movies quotes and pop culture and non-sports talk and references that aren't (overly) cheesy or played out. Also very cool that the bumper music is a ton of cool punk/indie/raggae/rock/old school rap and the collective music knowledge of the people on the show just outshines anything else I've heard on AM Sports Talk.

How does Todd do it? This year alone he released a solo album, a Stoned at Heart album, this and an Underground Railroad to Candyland is coming out in the fall. AND he runs a really great label!

If you told me a Grabass Charlestons/Toys That Kill split stream was being hosted by a Zine website I'da bet my life it was Razorcake. I don't think Razorcake can make it through a single issue or podcast without mentioning/playing one of those bands. Which is a good thing.

Razorcake really doesn't have resources to do that right now. Their focus is print and they do that really well. I don't know if they ever really host streams.

i'd replace the word rich with "business wise and financially ambitious" and the word poor with "not business wise and financially ambitious"

and id replace "by convincing them god is on their side" with "by convincing them that they have an equal opportunity to be rich despite their lack of business intelligence and financial ambition"

of course it doesn't hurt the rich's ideology that most people including the poor are obsessed with gaining more property, be it money or otherwise

My understanding is that it can smell like a ton of different things since there are so many possible ingredients. Although on this yahoo answers, cat pee is one of the smells someone listed.
