Weezer has released the video for "Memories," the first single from their Epitaph Records debut, Hurley. It is due out September 14, 2010.

Org desperate times: I saw this girl I really like status on FB is single. Should I see if she home tomorrow? Do you think going to her house to see if she home to try to talk to her would be weird? Or asking one of her room mates where she works would be weird? I know if I don't do this I'm going to regret doing this. I can't live with that kind of regret anymore. Any tips or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

my advice would to let it be natural. don't be so upfront about it. say something nice to her on facebook and start up a conversation. then ask if she wants to meet up sometime.

living without regret is one thing, but shooting yourself in the foot is another. showing up to a girl's house it sounds like you just "kind of" know would come off super creepy. just message her, ask if she wants to do something sometime and then let it go for a while. focus on other stuff. Just don't make a big deal about her, because like another poster said, she will smell that shit and run.

Showing up at her house would be weird, and unless she works someplace like Starbucks where there would be a reasonable chance that you just happened by, the work drop by would be weird too. A simple "Whats up gorgeousgirlidliketobang, how have you been? Whats new?" comment on her FB page would suffice. Or private message would work too. Just something simple to start a dialogue and elicit a response.

Just take it easy and remember, girls can smell desperation like dog shit in their purse.

If she's not that active on facebook then there's a pretty decent chance she saw the message and just didn't get to it. If you really wanna go for it then interpret this as her not being interested...yet. As I said before, I'd wait about 2 weeks or so then try again.

Based on what you've said, showing up at her house or work would be very weird. If you happen to see her randomly in public (or if you can set that up), that would be perfect. If no, then I'd stick to facebook messaging her.

There's other elements that remind me of Pinkerton and Maladroit. Some songs really rock out. So, I think you'd enjoy the record.
