Against Me! stops by JBTV

JBTV, the punk video show graciously and capably hosted by Brendan Kelly of The Lawrence Arms and Red Scare proprietor Tobias Jeg, has unveiled a new episode that features an in-studio performance of "Sink, Florida, Sink" from Against Me! as well as videos from The Loved Ones, Story Of The Year, Cobra Skulls, Modest Mouse and Bouncing Souls.

I heard he got a job at MTV to revive Total Request Live. Ryan Manno, that is, not Jerry. Though seeing Jerry creep out all those pop stars would make me watch it.

AM! opened their show last night with Amputations. It was weird, I don't think anyone knew what the song was. (Me included, I had to look it up when I got home) Encore was epic though, 3/4 RAR songs.

As much heat as these guys take, you can tell they still love playing their old songs. I guess it's not hard when those are the songs that people seem to go nuts for the most.

Selist was similar in Regina, cept we got Turn those.... and no Miami, no Fm of the heart, but the fact that Tom Played "JOY" made my night. Also the flatliners wouldn't play "he was a jazz..." , frankly I don't think Chris has the chops to do it live.

I listen to The Flatliners a lot, but I don't have a great handle on the names of all their songs. I'm pretty sure it's an accurate list though. Chris usually names the song before they play it anyway.

Solid set list: i'm sort of wondering why they're still not playing Because of the Shame on a regular basis yet: i suppose, they'll start when it inevitably gets released as a single.
