Media: Panic At The Disco: ‘Vices and Virtues’

Panic at the Disco are streaming their new album, Vices & Virtues, which is due out March 29, 2011 via Fueled By Ramen.. The album was produced by Butch Walker (Weezer, Pink) and John Feldmann (Neon Trees, The Used) and is their first new release in three years, as well as their debut outing as a duo.

The band has also announced a May and June headlining tour.

Kind of sounds like they tried to mix elements of their first and second album.....I don't like it too much so far.

I have nothing against P!ATD...they seem to be pretty innocuous pop, but don't taunt us with the promise of disco if you can't deliver on it. Unless if that's the titular "panic", that there's a shocking lack of disco at the discotheque. In which case, it's better to present yourself as the *solution* and provide the disco, not exacerbate the problem further.

I like The Bee Gees, is that so wrong?!?!?

Disco rocks. It had is flaws, but so did punk. Some day, the two scenes will co-exist in perfect, funky harmony.

Whenever I come home from college to visit my parents I drive their car. A fever you can't sweat out is usually in the CD player, I proceed to sing myself hoarse.

Haven't listened to this new album yet, I hope it's as catchy as the first one.
