Xiu Xiu join Polyvinyl Records

Polyvinyl Records has added Xiu Xiu to its roster. The band's first release for their new label will be a 7-inch featuring one new song as well as a cover of Rihanna's "Only Girl in the World;" look for that in September.

A new album is expected to follow in early 2012.

This may be the worst band that I keep hearing about. They were awful as Ten in The Swear Jar and they're no better now.

I'm all for experimental music and pushing the lines, AND I never comment...but man, this was just fucking horrible. HEY! LOOK AT ME! I'M TRYING TO BE SO FUCKING DIFFERENT!
