As they celebrate their 20th anniversary as a band, Pearl Jam has announced a festival set to take place Labour Day weekend at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisconsin, outside Milwaukee.. The band released their debut album, Ten in 1991, shortly after Nirvana's Nevermind broke.
The festival has so far confirmed The Strokes, Queens of the Stone Age, Mudhoney, X's John Doe, Joseph Arthur, Glen Hansard (the Swell Season/The Frames) and Liam Finn. Festival tickets go on sale next Monday (May 23) for members of Pearl Jam's Ten Club fan organization, and June 4 for the general public.
