The Black Keys complete seventh album with more garage, rockabilly sound

The Black Keys have completed recording on their seventh full length album. The record, which will come about two years after their last Grammy-winning album, promises to be quite different than the classic R&B and soul influenced Brothers. According to a Spin Magazine report, the songs were inspired by the Clash, the Cramps, and old rock'n'roll, rockabilly, and garage rock records.

The yet-to-be-titled new record will be released later this year. It was recorded at guitarist Dan Auerbach's Nashville studio during breaks in the band's schedule when their producer Brian "Danger Mouse" Burton was able to fly in.
