I Am Ghost vocalist forms Requiem for the Dead

I Am Ghost's Steven Juliano has unveiled a new project called Requiem for the Dead.

The three piece is planning to release a free download of their debut, Always and Forever, on September 2nd and will debut their first video and single on August 1st.

sad as it is, i'll admit to liking the first ep I am Ghost put out. hated their full length though.

didn't he used to sing for a bad pun named ska band? (Skabba the Hutt and Skazilla are the 2 popping into mind but i know one became Bear vs Shark and the other the Bravery so it can't be one of those)

Wait. There was a ska band that became Bear vs. Shark?! Where can I hear/read/find something? BvS is/was my favourite band.

i'm pretty sure it was one of those deals where most of the guys from the band formed Bear vs Shark after the demise of the ska band. i'll see what i can find, its possible that i might have them on a local comp or something.

I've never even heard of Skazilla. What comp are they on? Did they release anything?

no clue if they released anything. i'll have to check around to see if there was anything or if anyone i know has it. i'm guessing someone i know somewhere has it if they did release anything or were on any comps (sorry if i alluded to me having a comp, i meant that its likely that i could have something. i have a ton of comps from around the time they were around in the late 90's)

No bad pun, the name of the band was Fall Out. I know this only because it was brought up in a previous thread a long time ago. Never listened to them, but I'm sure it was awful.

I have a Fall Out ep somewhere around here. I saw em with I think Codename: Rocky a few times and was fairly unimpressed. I am, of course, assuming it's the same Fall Out.

Most of those ska bands formed in '98. It's obvious they just hop to whatever genre's trendy at the moment until they find success.
