Media: Cymbals Eat Guitars: ‘Lenses Alien’

SPIN has launched a stream of Lenses Alien, the new full-length from Cymbals Eat Guitars. It's due out August 30, 2011 via Barsuk and will follow up the band's self-released 2009 effort Why There Are Mountains.

These guys rule. This album seems a little darker, and a little heavier, but I like where they're going. After a few more listens I'm sure I'll be hooked on this. Just like they're last one.

No kidding. It got so heavy at times I had to remember what I was listening to. Definitely didn't expect that. This is one of the new breed of indie bands that I really enjoy.
