Hawthorne Heights has launched a new video for "Is This What You Wanted" via Alternative Press.

I was actually pretty excited to hear what these guys would do on their own and without Victory, especially after reports of a heavier sound, but wow, the lyrics just killed it for me, and the melodies were pretty generic, and not in a good way. I do enjoy their first album though, no shame.

hasn't it gotten to the point where these guys are so outside of what anyone cares about that the hipster population should start liking them to show how cool and ironic they are?

i won't lambast you, because these guys had more then a few songs (if not whole albums) that i liked. "light sleeper"? i stil listen to that on a regular basis. and enjoyed them live in toronto. but this song? i dunno. i kinda hate it. doesn't it sound like them imitating brand new circa deja entendu to anyone else?
