San Diego's As I Lay Dying will be releasing their new album, Decas, on November 8, 2011. They've released the first single from the album as a lyric video for the song, "Paralyzed."

So why have more and more metalcore bands have been releasing lyric videos? Oh that's right, because it's mostly incomprehensible death growls. But at least now you can tell the lyrics are meaningful!

Probably because it's cheaper to hire an After Effects artist for an afternoon rather than pay for an entire crew for a 14-hour shoot.
