"According to the Official Jimmy Eat World website as well as the NME website, Jimmy Eat World has recorded a cover of Prodigy's "Firestarter" for an upcoming NME War Child compilation called 'One Love.' This compilation also features Badly Drawn Boy covering a (the) Dexy's Midnight Runner's Song, Prodigy covering The Specials, as well as appearances by the Manic Street Preachers, and Starsailor."

I've been waiting to hear this cover for-fucking-ever. It's not new...just hard to find, as far as I know. Jerry Dammers helped invent trip-hop, and I really can't wait to hear this. The whole album looks interesting...

first off I am not an idiot, because I am 100% sure in some point in their career (mtv video music awards like 6 years ago when they played live from austrailia or somewhere) they announced they were breaking up also...a band can be broken up and still record a song (unofficially) *****Wuss-Emo-Rock*****

prodigy, to the best of my recollections, either broke up or went on extended hiatus about one year or so after the release of 'fat of the land', I'd get confirmation, but I'm lazy. As far as I know, they're back together, they've put out a new single, recorded a video and should have a new album out soon. The new track is called 'baby's got a temper', and it's not so bad...the video...is fucking strange.

Fuck the Giants. The cards were a much better team and should have gone to the WS. They didnt play well in this series though and the Giants capitalized on it. The Angels will completely destroy the giants. The angels being the better team. the giants have hitters and pitchers while they need fielders. good luck not getting swept like arizona.
