I find it funny that no matter how many users/commenters come and go, their always seems to be a marked preference for the fat wreck style.

Nothing on that list (or any other list this year) is better than "Moscow Penny Ante".

I'm trying to get into the new La Dispute. I don't know, something just doesn't seem right with it...

My vote is for smoko at the pet food factory, even though I imported it months ago anyway

My ratings never come into play because I always remove them after I post so as not to mess up my "favourite albums" list. That's the only reason I can think of for Kite Party and WWPJ not being higher.

Heart Beats Pacific has no business being ranked ahead of Dead to Me, I Am The Avalanche, Static Radio NJ, and a number of other records this month.

i've enjoyed hearts beat pacific so much that i haven't even really listened to the new dead to me. Red Line and Intervention are some of my favorites songs not just off this record but perhaps off all there records.

La Dispute blows. As much as I love the Banner Pilot, I think Dead To Me's new one beats it. |

That's weird. None of these albums are The Spits.
