Toh Kay's "Streetlight Lullabies" came out this month right? It has some really cool takes on older songs, however, I really wish he'd stop this cover album shit. I think this is like the 5th recording of Dear Sergio.

This is the first time I've agreed with the #1 & 2 spots. Also glad to see Lee Corey Oswald getting some love. I still have to listen to the Future Of The Left release, though. Someday. . .

That Jet Market album was great. Saw em live not long ago, the boys put on a good show.

I'm not sure if these should count or not, but my favorite releases this month are the Lagwagon reissues (next to the well deserved Tom Waits record of course). Them shits sound awesome! Especially Duh.

*Obligatory post reminding people this list will only be comprised of albums reviewed on this site in the month of November. Carry on.

The Slow Death, Turkish Techno and Ramshackle Glory are all great. Haven't got round to listening to the new Tom Waits yet.

Early Christmas present. Neighborhood kid told me to check out his band.
sickboy22 (December 2, 2011)
I thought Slow Death was better than Tom Waits, not taking anything away from Bad As Me because that is an awesome album.
Longshot (December 2, 2011)
Who the hell is the Slow Death?
forfuksake (December 2, 2011)
Tom Waits? Are you people fucking kidding me? This site has become a total joke. The blind leading the blind if you think this record is punk or good at all. I had to give it a listen just to make sure it was the same old Tom Waits crap. Confirmed awful...Delete! |
