Videos: Tumbledown: “Great Big World”

Tumbledown, the alt-country project from Mike Herrera of MxPx have released another video from 2011's Empty Bottle. The group just wrapped up a tour of the Southwestern United States and Mexico.

I'm not really one for 'alt-country' in general, but the main reason I wouldn't listen to this is because his lyrical style is still pretty bad. that style worked for the first four mxpx albums or so; he wrote some teenage gems on those early ones. the bummer is he never seemed to grow out of writing like a kid.

I agree with you but compared to 98% of music produced, this is pretty good.

This is pretty good. Better than most of the stuff on the self-titled. The first album was ok but just felt too forced. This sounds more natural.

That song has like 4 seconds of music just repeated ad nauseum.
