Sex Pistols

Iconic UK punk act, the Sex Pistols, have signed a record deal with Universal Records for the expanded and repackaged edition of Nevermind the Bollocks in time for it's 35th anniversary.

The Sex Pistols were signed to EMI back in 1976 but the relationship didn't last long due to the band's memorable and controversial interview with Bill Grundy. The conflict between the Sex Pistols and EMI led to the song "EMI" that appeared on Nevermind the Bollocks. EMI was ironically purchased by Universal Records and Sony which relieved the band of their contract.
