Members of New Mexican Disaster Squad and Gatorface form Chemical Ache

Chemical Ache is the name of a new project featuring members of New Mexican Disaster Squad, Gatorface, VRGNS, and How Dare You.

The band are currently recording their debut record in Gainesville, FL and are expected to release it this fall.

Had to be done. The smallest part of me kinda wants this band to turn out not to have neither Alex, Richard or Sam in it, y'know, just so I get mine, but my raging hard-on for Sam Johnson prays otherwise though.

Is gatorface still active? I loved the ep, the full length was a bit boring by i had high hopes for the future stuff.

The Sick & Stupid 10" was super cool. I'm already partial to one-sided vinyl, but the engraved artwork was pretty nice.

Also, the download card was surprisingly high quality, being printed on a nice weighty credit-card style plastic. Not that there's anything wrong with paper download codes (the value is in the digital product, after all), but damn, that was nicely presented EP.

Uh, the music was pretty good too, if a little cookie-cutter.

Is VRGNS still active? Manimals is still on constant repeat in the office(in headphones as my coworkers are squarepants)

I look forward to this, NMDS was awesome and Gatorface were/are awesome so this should be good?
