It's not as immediately likeable as their last record was, but I still enjoy it. Will be happy to hear it "for real" tomorrow and really get a feel for it. I don't know if they have said anything about it or not, but the final track "Last Stand" sounds an awful lot like a breakup song. As in, "this is the last song on our last record, so enjoy it". They reference old song titles of theirs, and it just generally gives off that vibe. |
