Media: Set Your Goals: “Only Right Now” and “I'll Walk It Off”

Set Your Goals have posted two new songs from their recent recording session with producer Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory. The band just wrapped up a headlining tour and the new material is their first since Burning at Both Ends in 2011 on Epitaph Records.

Both of these songs are far better than anything on their last album. My faith in this band is reborn.

See, I never got the hate for the new album. It's no Mutiny!, but it doesn't sound much different from This Will Be The Death Of Us, which received nowhere near the same amount of criticism. Hell, the new album doesn't even sound much different from these songs.

These songs seem to have way more edge than the previous album, but I gave that one like two spins and it's been awhile, so maybe I'm just an idiot.

Unfortunately not. I don't live in Cleveland/Akron during the school year, my college is near Lima. However, I will be attending Touché Amoré and Defeater in Columbus tomorrow.

also, i listened to BABE again last week and there are far more songs on it I enjoy than I recall the first time I heard it. glad I picked up a copy.
