City and Colour, the solo project from Dallas Green of Alexisonfire, has fleshed out summer touring plans. The new shows include festivals, opening for Death Cab for Cutie, Avett Brothers and more.

This guy is basically just Dashboard Confessional 2.0, no? Going from emo-punk to shitty acoustic music tailor made for an episode of Grey's Anatomy does wonders.

I heard his songs without having any idea who he was and kinda liked them...didn't think Dashboard Confessional at all. It's more indie ala Iron And Wine, etc, rather than whiny emo like Dashboard. But yes, going from shitty emo-punk to indie rock tailor made for the latest hipster movie does work wonders.

I saw him at House of Blues New Orleans a while back and it was a good show. Glad he is playing DeLuna Fest in Pensacola Beach.

Eh. City And Colour is one of those things that were better as a side project. I didn't mind Alexisonfire. Watch Out was a pretty decent album. Had some balls to it which was lacking in every other Emo Punk band that was out at the time.
