If over half the total space in the fridges weren't understood as "I don't care if you eat it" area, it would be different. But as it stands, I can only lament the fact that it would be exceedingly unlikely that gnarly yogurt would kill whoever is either too fat (unlikely, it's plain Greek) or too lazy to pass up some free yogurt when nobody's looking. It certainly isn't out of necessity. I'm not QUITE sadistic enough to let some chicken blood sit out overnight and inject it in with a very fine syringe. That would be cheating anyway.

Non-perishables go on my desk. If you come in and grab something, you either already know you have permission or you have enough balls that I salute you and let it slide. It's just this mental image of the culprit listening at the kitchen door to make sure they have enough time to snatch the yogurt and escape that pisses me off. Such an honorless crime.
