what a piece of shit album seriously what a fucking douche bag, this album sounds like it was written by Randy Newman from that Family Guy episode.

It started out fine until it got to the "YEEEEEAAAAAAH!"

went down to Fells Point and picked this up over the weekend, really good, quite a bit going on with the pianos and strings, but done very well-oldpunker-

feels kinda bloated and overambitious, i really liked the shitty-sounding old stuff (still somewhat ambitious for what it was). speaking of which, "divide by" still kicks ass

Got the Double LP on red vinyl from FAT in the mail today. Love the album. Good to hear something different.

Ach! Forgot to pre-rder. Hoping my record store carries it so I can grab it at the when the new Propagandhi comes out. I've liked pretty much everything Ezra's ever done so I'm confident in this purchase.

I gotta say I'm pretty disappointed in this. It sounds so corny throughout. I understand the guy writes pop songs, but they used to have an edge that I'm not hearing here. I also should note that I saw them live a couple weeks ago and that was even more of a let down. Guitars were way too low, vocals too exhausted, energy level low. Sorry Ezra - there is no time ta sleep was one of my favorite albums about 6 years ago, but this just isn't working. For the record, i'd say its infinitely better than that god awful last star fucking hipsters effort, but thats not saying much. |
