Water Tower (southeastern US)

Florida natives, Against Me! and Fake Problems, will be heading out for a handful of dates together starting in November. Both bands are currently working on new records. Against Me! are working on their first release for their new label, Total Treble, and Fake Problems are working on the follow up to 2010's Real Ghosts Caught on Tape. Portland, OR's Water Tower will also be joining the tour. Tickets go on sale September 10.

When she talked maybe, but if anything she just has a softer warmer quality to her voice that usually comes from someone being happy. As for the songs she sounds the same.

That is the stupidest thing I've read this month. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Regardless, I've personally been very curious over how or if Laura would alter her voice in transitioning. Hormone treatments don't affect the vocal cords; the speech pattern/pitch are changed through vocal training or outright surgery, so it's a voluntary decision on her part. For a rock singer, I imagine it must be a difficult decision.

Trust me, I am not a fan of hippies either, which is why I was calm and just curious. Allow me to elaborate. I am sure you have had a significant other in your life. Think about the times they are happy as opposed to angry. Their is a rougher, angrier tone to the angry times and a softer, calmer quality when they are happy. My point was that since Laura has decided to live true to herself in public, she seems more relaxed and comfortable. I didn't intend to make it seem like I was saying her voice is more feminine. During the songs the delivery is the same in tone and such. I am also well aware of the fact that heightening the pitch of a voice is something that doesn't happen in male to female transitions.

I will admit that I misread what bat mite wrote. I hadn't had coffee yet and I read it as laura sounds so different. I have always had a small issue with words and I wasn't wearing my glasses.

This is worth it. I went to the Seattle stop and it was the most fun I have had a show in a long time. Their energy is insane.

I was at that show and absolutely agree. It was probably the best Against Me! show I've ever seen. El Corazon was disgustingly hot and humid though.
