The Mountain Goats have launched a stream of their new album for Merge Records. The record is titled Transcendental Youth and is due out October 2, 2012.

it's really tough to fault JD on anything he puts out. I love the addition of a brass section on parts of this album, the arrangements are really fun and lend well to the songs unlike some other bands i won't mention here...coughlucerocough...
