I liked Jorge's voice better on their earlier stuff. It was like this high pitched shriek, the newer stuff is more of a growl and the music gets more and more metal and generic sounding each time. I'll pass and toss on For The Punx or Underground Army sometime instead.

I realize this is not the right thread to post this message but I am going to put it here just so it will be read by everyone. I feel like the song 72 Hookers from the new Nofx album is a very bigoted song from a band that professes to be against such racist generalizing but I would expect nothing less from a band that plays a show in Israel. I dont know how any true punk band could play a show in Israel when since 1948 they have been stealing innocent Palestinians land and killing so many of those people. All you have to do is spend just a little bit of time researching the conflict to learn that there is nowhere in this world where there is so much suffering and misery because they way the Israeli military abuses tortures and kills these people.We can talk about so many different things from the bulldozing of houses to being bombed with illegal white phosphorus. We dont hear about alot of these things in the mainstream media because it is controlled by zionists but you can learn alot just by watching some videos on youtube about Zionist Israel and Palestinian abuses. I would recommend you to check out any videos by Dr. Norman Finkelstein. Now the media is doing everything they can to try to push us into a war with Iran by using the same lies that they used about Iraq which was nothing more than a war for Israel who is to cowardly to fight their own wars so they want us to fall on our swords again, spend money we should be spending here on our poor just to promote the destructive Zionist Agenda. The media says Israel is our best ally but what do they ever do to help us? We give their military billions of dollars but it is a one sided relationship. We never hearabout the Lavon affair False flag Operations in the media though. How about the USS Liberty when in 1967 Israel fighter jets and Navy bombed a US Navy ship and tried to blame it on Egypt so we would attack Egypt. The Government of Israel creates False Flag operations alot to try to get us to fight their wars for them especially since it seems like their military only likes to pick on Palestinian women and children who are usually just armed with rocks and slingshots. I wish no harm towards the people of Israel i just want the Palestinians to be able to have their own state that they can call home and to have freedoms where they will no longer be treated like animals. Some of the things that I have learned about the Palestinian plight is nothing less than shocking with what they have endured. I thank anyone who took the time to read this and i am not trying to offend anyone with this post I just wanted to say that as a Nofx fan how much it dissapointed me when they played in the apartheid
state of Israel. I have tried to learn as much about this conflict ever since 1993 when my favorite band Propagandhi had the amazing song Haillie Sellasse. Please take some time to try to learn about this conflict if you havent already. Thank you for all those who stand up for the basic human rights of the Palestinians and especially a big thanks to any punk band who have dedicated their time and music to this most important cause. Punk rock has always been the best forum for those who stand up for the outcasts, and for those who have been bullied and oppressed.

i think it was 2003, the casualties were playing a show at the tabernacle in atlanta with Avail. this was the year after Joe Strummer passed away (head reverently bowed), and the casualties covered white riot in memory of this. immediately after this i somehow ended up with the mic, on stage, and cussing the casualties up and down about their poor choice in song to remember him by and blah blah blah. inevetibly i was kicked the fuck out. not sure why im comenting, sure im sorry i acted that way, drank to much and was way too angry. so i wish they woulda played something like police and thieves or cheat, but i owe them an appology... i appologise.

The first time I saw The Casualties was at a small venue in Atlanta called the 513 club. They were on tour supporting the For The Punx album. I have been a die hard fan ever since, and have partied with them in cities across the country and around the world. So it is not easy for me to say that it seems my friends have slipped with this one. The songs sound tired, unenthusiastic, and bored. I'd say it sounds like they just went back to what they know, but thats not it at all. Ill see yall on tour, and Im sure Jake will kick my ass when he reads this, but I have to be honest. On the Front Lines still reigns supreme.
Sorry guys, i wont buy this album but ill get you all jagger in ATL!!
