They originally split in 2006 after eight years together which includes releases on some indies as well as major label Epic who released

While I don't care for them at all, I interviewed them years ago and that singer was SUPER nice. I wanted to like them just based on his personality. It didn't happen, but he's a good dude.

They added the old bass player from Schoolyard Heroes. You know, just in case they didnt have enough 16 year old girl fans.

I like the song Shatterday (the only one by them that I know), but this song sounds too much like Muse.

The only "Close to Me" that I want to hear is from Robert Smith and company. These guys are definitely not that.
